Delightful owners and staff. Impeccably clean with lovely rooms. Didn't try the food, but I'm certain it's absolutely fabulous. Oh, and the restaurant smelled positively divine.
Had an amusing encounter with the low wood beams in the charming rooms. Who knew they were so good at headbutting?

The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a large, sparkling clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and professional, and there was a fantastic fish/seafood restaurant on site. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance. One of the best aspects was the accommodating parking arrangements, ensuring we had a spot for the duration of our stay.
There were a few drawbacks to consider during our stay. the lack of a reception area was a bit inconvenient.

Italian breakfast: The breakfast at this hotel was like a delightful symphony of flavors, with freshly baked pastries that melted in your mouth and rich, aromatic coffee that awakened your senses. It was a breakfast fit for royalty, or at least for someone who appreciates the finer things in life.
TV with limited channels: The only downside was that the TV in my room seemed to have a mind of its own, displaying just a few Italian words instead of the usual entertainment. But hey, who needs TV when you have a breathtaking city center to explore and mouthwatering pizza to devour?

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean and had a great view of a little canal. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and it was easy to walk to all the attractions. The breakfast provided was light but delicious, with good coffee. The staff were very friendly and attentive, always remembering our preferences. The hotel also had excellent parking facilities and was close to the autostrada, making it easy to get around.
Nothing, it was perfect.

Italian Breakfast: The breakfast at this hotel was like a symphony of flavors, with fresh pastries that melted on my tongue like a sweet sonnet. Each morning, I indulged in a culinary masterpiece that brought me joy from the first bite to the last crumb.
Low Ceiling: Although the charm of the attic room was undeniable, the low ceiling proved to be a humorous obstacle. I had a couple of unexpected encounters with the ceiling that left me slightly bewildered, but it added a touch of adventure to my stay.

I got excellent value for my money at this well-decorated bed and breakfast. The room was spacious and welcoming, equipped with everything I needed, and the big shower was a bonus. The location was perfect, within walking distance to everywhere and by a charming little canal. The staff, particularly Antonietta and Marisa, treated me exceptionally well. They were attentive, friendly, and remembered my preferences. The restaurant served superb seafood dishes, and the recommended wine was amazing. The continental breakfast was a nice start to the day. The bed was very comfortable, and the fresh fruit plate in the room each day was a lovely touch. Despite my rudimentary Italian, the staff made sure I felt looked after and welcomed.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better was the addition of a recharging brick for phones for international travelers using power adapters. However, it's a very minor detail and overall, my stay at La Dogana was excellent.
